Registration

1. The student registration fee should be applied with proof of valid student status.
2. The IFOAM Affiliates registration fee should be applied with proof of valid IFOAM members’ status.
3. The early bird discount is available from the start of registration until October 20, 2024 (GMT+8). From October 21, 2024 (GMT+8), normal ticket will be available.
4. The registration deadline is November 10, 2024 (GMT+8). From November 11 to 26, 2024 (GMT+8), the registration fee will uniformly be at the late registration ticket price.
5. Registration fee payment allows access to all sessions during the 3-day congress (December 2 - 4, 2024), digital program proceedings, congress GALA dinner, lunches, and coffee breaks.
6. Access to all Sessions includes Opening and Closing Ceremony, Keynote Speeches, Oral and Poster presentations, Workshops and also Panel discussions during the 3-day congress.
7. Participants of the IFOAM General Assembly will need to pay a food package fee, which includes 2 lunches, 2 coffee breaks, and the GA social dinner.
8. The registration fee is determined by your nationality, not your place of residence. Participants from developing countries are eligible for special discounts to encourage global participation and inclusivity. Check if your country is classified as a developing country HERE.
9. Please note that we can only accept payments in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$). If you are paying in Euros (€), the amount will be converted to NT$ based on the exchange rate as of August 7, 2024, which is €1 = NT$35.75.
10. The congress organisers have made every effort to ensure the accuracy of the details at the time of publishing, but reserve the right to alter or delete items from the program or the services as circumstances require.

In the event that the participant cannot attend the conference after the completing the registration and payment process, a representative may be designated to attend on your behalf (representative must not also be a registered participant for this conference). Please inform us in advance via e-mail with the necessary registration information for your representative.

• If you notify us by email 30 days before the start of the event (before October 30, 2024, 17:00 GMT+8), no additional fees will be required.
• If you notify us by email 14 days before the start of the event (before November 15, 2024, 17:00 GMT+8), an administrative fee of € 20 per person will be charged for each modification of registration information.
• If modifications to personal information are required due to errors in the information provided, an administrative fee of € 10 will be charged for each modification, and additional fees may be applied for reissuing the participation certificates depending on the circumstances. 

If the participant cancels registration before the start of the conference, the following timing-dependent refund policies apply:

• For cancellation made at least 60 days before the conference begins (before September 30, 2024, 17:00 GMT+8), 75% of the registration fees will be refunded.
• For cancellation made at least 30 days before the conference begins (before October 30, 2024, 17:00 GMT+8), 50% of the registration fees will be refunded.
• For cancellation made within 30 days of conference starts (after October 31, 2024, 17:00 GMT+8), registration fees are not eligible for refund.
• Please note that any transaction fees, additional charges, or taxes incurred during the refund process will be deducted from the refund.
• All refunds will be processed within 30 working days after the conference ends (before January 17, 2025, 17:00 GMT+8). Refunds can only be credited back to the original credit card used for

In the unlikely event that incidents beyond the control of the organizers occur during the conference period, such as natural disasters, terrorist attacks, outbreaks of war, strikes or demonstrations, fire, explosions, unforeseen accidents, national regulations, pandemics, or global health crises, the conference may need to change its venue, format, or be postponed. Conference organizers and hotels will not be responsible for partial or complete inability to fulfill their contracts under these circumstances.
